About the Scholarship
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program of the U.S. government, offering grants for graduate study, research, and teaching in the United States. Afghan students are eligible to apply through the U.S. Embassy in Kabul or neighboring countries.
Eligibility Requirements
- Citizenship: Citizens of Afghanistan (including displaced applicants)
- Academic Performance: Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 4-year degree)
- English Proficiency: TOEFL (80+) or IELTS (6.5+) required
- Field of Study: All fields except clinical medicine (MBA applicants require work experience)
- Commitment: Must return to Afghanistan upon completion
